Before we say happy new year
You did a great Job this year. You probably don't know that yet because you judge your progress by worldly standards. A new car is alright, so is a new house and partner but trust me, if you got none of those this year, it's fine, You did great. You showed up everyday despite how hard it got. People walked the same path you walked, saw how hard it got and chose the easy way out of this world. You!, showed up every - single - day! You've done well. Saying this because you just might not experience progress next year if you let the failure of '25 weigh you down. You may not experience growth if you keep focusing on how little you grew this year. I don't want you having these regrets Dec. '26, not because you didn't have it in you to succeed, but because you didn't and couldn't let go of the past. Growth becomes harder when your focus is fixed on what you think you lack, instead of who you’re becoming. I hope this helped Yours In-love and In-christ Skool Teecha Gospel
Faith: But Not The Way You Think
Can we talk a little more about faith? And this may change the way you see faith forever, but "i dun kia" In my last post, I mentioned that our faith wasn’t handed to us on a platter of comfort. Someone reached out privately and asked, “So why wouldn’t God want us to just live comfortable lives?” About eight years ago, I realised I had misunderstood faith. I thought faith was mainly a “meal ticket” something you use when your fees are delayed or when you need a miracle and honestly thats what my daddy taught me. And to be fair, many of us were first introduced to faith at the level of need. So we start to believe the doctrine of faith exists so we can live comfortable, problem-free lives. But even Jesus acknowledged our human needs. In Matthew 6:33 He tells us not to worry about what we will eat, drink, or wear because the Father already knows we need these things. Needs will always exist. They never end. Trust me, they will ALWAYS EXIST So what am I saying? There comes a point where God expects more from our faith. Yes, faith may have met your needs but that isn’t its core design. I once asked our church while doing a teaching series on faith, “Who was the first person recorded to have walked by faith?” Most people if not everyone one chorused Abraham and I understand why. We see Abraham waiting for Isaac, so we assume faith is first and foremost about receiving what we need. But Scripture shows someone else before Abraham: Enoch. “And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” — Genesis 5:24“By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death… for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” Hebrews 11:5 Enoch’s faith wasn’t about bills, breakthroughs, or material supply. His faith was expressed through intimacy, obedience, and alignment with God. That’s faith in its purest form not just receiving from God, but walking with Him. Then we see Noah. Hebrews 11 shows us that Noah’s faith wasn’t rooted in need either it was rooted in assignment. God gave him an instruction, and Noah trusted God enough to obey.

Your walk with God will not improve in 2026
Let me say this in a language we can all understand. i have been hot, cold and warm at various points in my life since i received christ. Sometimes its sheer laziness to pray, other times its just burn out from trying to figure life out. News Flash- even your pastor can grow cold. There is and always will be what sounds to you like a valid excuse to not fan the flame of your faith in christ. The truth is, our faith wasn't handed to us on a platter of comfort. what do i mean? A deeper walk with God will never be based off how much you have saved up or how good things are at work. it will never be based off how well your marriage is or how good you feel. like every other relationship, a deeper and more intimate walk with God will depend on how much you want it and how intentional you are at chasing after it I remember how i felt meeting the love of my life, whom today i am honoured and privileged to be husband to. I remember everything i felt every single day we spoke as we came to know each other. You see the quality of our relationship today isn't but how long we've known each other but how much. it's not about how many dates we PLANNED to go on but how many we actually went on. it's not about how much we wanted to spend time with each other but how much time we actually spent. This love walk will require you to not only make plans with God, but take steps to actually honour them. it's not about wanting to pray more starting January 2026 but actually starting to pray right as you read this post. It's not more about how you want to know him deeper through his word but actually being committed in a local church and taking your discipleship very serious. Its about doing what you plan to do in 3 days time today. YOU! yes you! you're reading this and you know it's for you. you know you gave enough excuses this year already. you know you ditched God and played church just enough to fool your pastor and everyone around you. Your relationship with God will only depreciate because you'll learn to be a professional christian. Pray now, study now! commit to a local church this Sunday.
Howdy!

The truth is, I know what God wants to do here, but I’m not entirely sure of the how yet. I’m just like you figuring life out one day at a time, learning to follow and love Christ. Here, I’ll be sharing, teaching, and pouring out my heart, trusting that God will do among us what He truly desires. Let’s step into 2026 together! Thank you all for your support and don’t forget to invite someone else to join the journey. Love you all, Your skool teecha, Gospel😁
