Faith in Truth is not o ly standing on the Truth of Christ but the Truth of scripture even when it makes us uncomfortable. This group was started before I really had considered what God wanted it for. I had this plan to finish my degree and study more scripture and write all these bright thought provoking books to establish my authority before tackling what I knew in my heart what God has called to be my battleground for His glory. That true calling is to teach what God REALLY means when he tells us to guide and discipline our children. I am betting that many of the issues you think are important are way off. Train a child in the way they should go and they will never stray Proverbs 22:6. So many of us have been working our butts of to correct errors of past generations and we KNOW the way it has done before but have forgotten which WAY and WHY we point them that way. We forget because we don't point the way we should. Faith in Truth Coaching is evolving. In order to train our children using Jesus as the TRUE rod, we must first teach ourselves. My authority is not the thinhs that happened to me, my authority is in the mistakes I made. Being on the otherside I have knowledge and clarity to step back and see the bigger picture. I understand that the things our children do that angers us, scares us, confuses us...are the lessons God is trying to teach us as well. We need to ask why and figure that out before we can choose how God wants us to go. Therefore the future of Faith in Truth will be in coaching parents. Parents who have no other examples, parents who are healing from not just what was done to them but also from what they did in response. I will offer personal coaching for parents who want to explore their ultimate goal for discipline and how to reach it without abusive practices. I will also offer resources to arm you in teaching the values you hold dearest in raising a child. Let's teach the children what responsibility comes with being a good person.
