Have you ever got news that shook you to your core, paralyzed you with anxiety, questioned your faith and inquire about your trust in GOD? In real time I'm there. External I'm calm... internally my stomach is flipping, my nervous system is in overload... I'm asking Daddy to take me off the strong solider list NOW!!! But in the midst I'm reminded of two scriptures one I spoke the last time I got news that had me here.
Philippians 4:6-9 MSG
[6-7] Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.[8-9] Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.
The other one is new:
Psalms 143:8 ERV
[8] Show me your faithful love this morning.I trust in you.Show me what I should do.I put my life in your hands!
I realize The News always come in the midst of me praying dangerous prayers and when elevation is at hand.
Why I'm sharing this. If the enemy's job is to steal, kill, and destroy... what better way to do it in the midst of THE NEWS. The News is always louder than GOD'S voice. It doesn't just overtake your mind, it invades your heart and nervous system... see slow destruction... through loud distractions (come through Holy Spirit for the realtime revelation 😭🙌🏾)! So as you navigate THE NEWS remember the goal... Trust GOD..it's a fixed fight... Take a breath, don't lean into the dis ( distracted, discourage, disconnected, or discombobulated) This will not end the way you think, no matter how uncomfortable the process to victory may be!
