🟣 Tuesday — Receiving Life
Truth:
Life with God is received, not manufactured.
Micro-Teaching:
Most of us are used to earning everything. You work, you get paid. You train, you get better. So without even thinking about it, we bring that same mindset into our relationship with God.
But that’s not how this works. God is the source. We’re not building life — we’re receiving it. Breath, strength, clarity… even the ability to take the next right step — it’s coming from Him.
I’ve had to learn this the hard way. You can grind all you want and still feel empty. Not because you’re not doing enough, but because you’re trying to produce something that was never yours to produce.
At some point, you stop pushing so hard… and you start paying attention to what God is already giving.
Practice:
At one point today, stop for 30 seconds and just say, “God, You are the source. I receive what You’re giving.”
Reflection:
Where are you still trying to force something that only God can give?
Word of the Day:
Reception — learning to live with open hands instead of clenched fists.
