Truth:
God forms most of a life where almost no one sees.
Micro-Teaching:
We often imagine that the most meaningful parts of our lives will be the visible ones—the moments when our work is recognized, when our influence grows, or when something we have done receives attention. But formation rarely happens there. It happens in the quiet places: ordinary faithfulness, unseen discipline, small acts of obedience repeated over time. What is hidden from people is never hidden from God. And what God forms in secret becomes the substance of a life that can carry weight.
Practice (Today):
Choose one small act of faithfulness today that no one else will notice.
Do it slowly and intentionally.
Offer it to God without the need for recognition.
You might pray:
“Form what is hidden in me.”
Reflection:
Where are you tempted to overlook the quiet places of your life because they seem insignificant?
What might God be shaping there that cannot be formed in public?
Word of the Day (teaser):
Faithfulness — steady obedience that does not depend on being seen.
A companion formation course connected to the themes of Because He Is, We are, is currently being developed and will be available soon.
