Today is my 10th Dr. Anniversary! I know it’s not a real thing… but it’s MY thing. 😄 10 years ago today, I successfully defended my dissertation and became Dr. Juanita. I was so nervous. The journey was LONG. But every time someone asked me about it, I told them the same thing: “I am going to successfully defend my dissertation.” I didn’t say “I hope.” I didn’t say “I’ll try.” I said I am. That’s the same energy I want for you inside this community. Whatever God put in your heart to do in your business — speak it like it’s already done. Write the vision. Make it plain. On Friday I completed my first childcare group coaching. This is the childcare that I am also the Co-Admin as well. While it can be challenging, but as I kept telling the team, I am their coach, not the Admin.

I have been in contract negotiations with a foundation for the past few weeks. This is an organization that I have been working with for the last three years. Today, we closed the deal. They met me some of the way. I am calling this a win, because I didn’t let fear stop me from asking for more this year.

I completed the Take Home Kits for the childcare center. I am a Co-Admin there, however, I consult with them as my business.
