🧠 Mental Virus: The "Sunk Cost" Fallacy
Look at the diagram below. Does this feel familiar? We feed the machine with bags of Time, Money, and Effort. When the project fails, the machine spits out Irrecoverable Losses. But instead of turning the machine off, we work harder. Why? Because of that heavy Anchor at the bottom. The Sunk Cost Fallacy: "I can't stop now, I've already fed the machine too much." The Truth: The machine doesn't care about your past investment. If the output is "Waste", the only logical move is to cut the anchor and walk away. Honest question: Are you currently feeding a machine like this? πŸ‘‡

Welcome to Failed & Found. If you walk into a bookstore, you will see 1,000 books written by billionaires telling you how to succeed. They say: "Work hard, take risks, be visionary." This is Survivorship Bias. During WWII, the military wanted to reinforce the armor on planes that returned with bullet holes. A mathematician stopped them. He said: "The planes with holes in critical places... never came back." We are here to study the planes that didn't come back. We are a forensic lab for business. We treat failures as data points, not tragedies. πŸ“ HOUSE RULES: Clinical Detachment: We don't judge the founders who failed. We analyze the mechanics of the failure. Be respectful. No "Success Porn": Do not post screenshots of your revenue unless you are explaining how you almost lost it. We value lessons over flexes. AI Autopsies: You will see posts marked #Autopsy. These are deep dives into failed startups using our AI framework. Read them to build your "risk immunity." πŸ‘‡ YOUR FIRST ASSIGNMENT: Introduce yourself in the comments below. But let's do it differently. Please tell us: Who you are (and what you are building). One "Red Flag" 🚩 you have seen in business recently (e.g., "Founders fighting," "Bad unit economics," etc.). Let’s get to work.
