Led by frontman Gary Lowder—a versatile singer, trumpet player, songwriter, and producer who began performing as a teen in North Carolina bands such as The Twilights and Hot Smokin' Brass, and later backed legends like Jackie Wilson—the group has become a staple at weddings, festivals, and events across the Southeast. They have earned multiple Carolina Beach Music Awards, including 9 wins in 2024 for Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year, plus "Best Local Band" honors on the Grand Strand from 2019 to 2022.
