You know you need sleep. You’re exhausted. And it’s 2am AGAIN.
I do this. Most of my clients do this. It’s not a discipline problem, it has a name:
revenge bedtime procrastination.
Bedtime means the day is over, and you never got a moment that was actually yours. So your brain steals it back at night, even though it costs you tomorrow.
You’re not failing at sleep. You’re finally getting a say in your day, just at the worst possible time.
My hack is to create selfish time during the day where you can rebel with some fun, or even frivolous activities. Also give yourself time to be hyper curious about something that excites you.
Ironically many creative ideas 💡 come from these moments and not during traditional productive times.
