Start here: your first five-minute AI win
Welcome to Everyday AI Club. I'm glad you're here. Let's start with one useful thing: turning rough notes into a clear reply. You can do this on your phone or computer with the AI chat tool you already use, such as ChatGPT or Claude. 1. Open a new chat. 2. Copy the made-up example below and send it. Help me write a friendly reply in under 60 words. Use only the facts in these notes. Don't add promises or details. Ask me if something is missing. Notes: A friend invited me to lunch on Saturday. I can't make Saturday. I'm free Sunday after 1pm. I'd like to suggest Sunday instead. 3. Read the result before using it. Did it keep Saturday and Sunday straight? Did it invent a place, time, or promise? 4. Ask: "Make it sound more like me: warm, simple, and less formal." That's your first win: a clearer draft that you checked yourself. Your turn Comment with one everyday task you'd like AI to help with. If you tried the exercise, share what improved or where it got stuck. No experience needed. Keep it simple and safe Use made-up examples while learning. Don't post passwords, customer details, private messages, or other sensitive information. AI can sound confident and still get things wrong. What's ready today This welcome exercise and a place to ask questions. We're a small community building the classroom together. What's coming next Short beginner walkthroughs, copyable prompt cards, and Everyday Upgrades such as Finder Hover. Courses and app downloads are still being prepared. I'll share each one when it's ready to use. Glad you're part of this, Anthony

What’s the most exciting thing you’ve done with AI?
Today my friend asked me to build out a jott form for him. I recorded the conversation with Wispr Flow. I got as much detail as possible then I pasted the whole transcription into Claude Code. I allowed it to open a Claude instance inside the Chrome browser and I logged in under his name with the context that I gave it from the whole conversation and asking the right questions. It built the whole thing out for me, even grabbing assets from my saved files that he gave me while I worked on other things within Claude Code. I could see it in my periphery just chugging along and it got it 99 of the way there, mind-blowing
