A few quick life updates, because January has been… a lot 😅

Many of you know that at the end of last year I was finishing up recording an album that was supposed to be released this spring. Right after Christmas, though, I got some pretty terrible news (which you can read all about here). Long story short, the album is in limbo. I’ve had an initial consult with an attorney, but honestly, I just haven’t had the bandwidth to fully tackle that yet.

Once the album was wrapped, I had planned to pour my energy into writing my book with

-- and if you’re even thinking about writing a book, I cannot recommend her community enough! The book is still coming, it's just delayed at the moment.

On top of that, I kicked off the year with a 5-day liquid fast after being inspired by

@Lucas Oliveira

to take my health more seriously… which then rolled straight into a modified Daniel Fast. That’s a whole other story 😂

So January has been this strange but good season of resetting, cleansing, catharsis, healing, and recalibrating.

ANYWAY… back to the album, or lack thereof lol... I had all this leftover creative, musical energy with nowhere to go. One of the songs that didn’t make the album kept speaking to me. I played it for a friend and, half-jokingly, she said, “You should make a musical out of this.”

So… I did. 😳🎶

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been juggling my full-time job, trying to stay active here on Skool, managing my rental properties, keeping up with my writing gigs -- and writing a musical. LOL. It’s been surreal. Whether or not you believe in God is totally your call, but I can honestly say this whole process has felt supernatural in ways I can’t fully explain.

I’ve got a small group of people reviewing the first drafts now. The script is done. The songs are done. I’m in the fine-tuning phase, and my next goal is to actually bring this production to life. I truly don’t know where it all came from. The closest comparison I have is how J.K. Rowling has described writing Harry Potter -- once it started, it just poured out and wouldn’t stop.

So… that’s what I’ve been up to for the past three weeks 😅

On another note: the Budget Worksheet is DONE (or at least ready for you all to start playing with).

I think it still needs some tweaks, but I’d love your feedback so I can refine it to better fit what you actually want and need. I’m planning to drop it here tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

Enough about me... how is everyone surviving the first month of 2026? 💫
