What do you fear?
Proverbs 22:4 “Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life”
We all desire the rewards that come from humility and fear of the Lord, but who of us can truly say we are humble enough to fear the Lord. I think in life we tend to fear other things, like people, finances, or insecurities, which don’t produce humility but instead pride. If you remember the story of Lucifer, we all know the wages of pride.
