Hey Everyone, due to lack of engagement, travel, and other events competing for time, I have decided to cancel the Wednesday night meetings for the next couple of months. Personally, I will be celebrating @Heather Doty's birthday this coming Wednesday. ❤️🙏🏼 There has also been pretty low engagement and I feel like the Lord is saying our time should be invested elsewhere, at least for now. Please keep us in prayer as we seek the Father's will regarding this and the things He wants to do in the Estero FL area. For those in SW Florida, please join us in person on Sunday mornings. Everyone else, hope to see you on the prayer call (M-F at 7:30AM EST) as you're able. (Or talk to new about starting your own prayer call. 😀) Much love, and may God bless all of you!

The Word is relevant (alive) and active (dynamic). It transcends time and is as applicable today as when it was written. Q: How does that contradict the dominant view that the Bible is dusty, old, and irrelevant? God’s Word also has the power to penetrate and judge the thoughts and attitudes of our hearts. Q: What emotional or spiritual defenses may rise up as God’s Word challenges your heart? It can cut us and “hurt” at times, but that is a good thing as it encourages us to repent and change. We will all have to give an account to God, not only for our outward actions, but for our inner-life as well. Q: What does this scripture communicate about God’s reign in our lives?

I am so glad each of you are here... this group exists as a place to learn and grow relationally. This is not about one person teaching others - this is about every one of us hearing from God in times of private prayer and Bible study - and every one of us sharing what we are learning for the benefit of all. This scripture says that your salvation, and the salvation of others, is dependent upon whether or not you practice what you preach. Q: Why does God put such a premium on our actions instead of just our intellectual belief? Q: Are you willing to make the Bible your standard for how you live and what you believe?
