One thing Ernie is great at is traveling! He doesn’t get car sick and is a annual flyer as we currently live between Greece 🇬🇷 and the UK 🇬🇧 Thou he is good in the car and does not get sick we have not yet found the perfect car seat for a small dog. Like many dachshunds Ernie has particular likes and DISLIKES, nail cutting and going outside in the rain battle for first place. Picture 1: Ernie reacting to me picking up the nail clippers. Picture 2: This is progress for Ernie he normally runs a mile. I feel like we’ve tried so many things to cut his nails: • my husband and I (his fav people) trying together with high value treats - EPIC FAIL • groomers - they managed but Ernie was so distressed we haven’t yet been back. • at the moment we’re using a scratchy board and high value treats. It seems to be working but it’s VERY slow. Your TOP TIPS very welcome….🐾
