Well… this week was much quieter than last week’s chaos. And honestly? Whew! I think my nerves needed the break.
We got invited to a Friendsgiving on Thanksgiving Day and hung out from mid-afternoon until late evening — great food, great laughs, great company. Then yesterday, we decided to cook our own full Thanksgiving dinner… and yes, I grilled the turkey. I basically treat the barbeque like a giant outdoor oven. 😉🔥
And you might be wondering:
“Why make a second Thanksgiving dinner after already going to one?”
Simple. They didn’t send us home with any leftovers… soooo we took matters into our own hands. A full week of leftovers is a sacred holiday tradition — and we refuse to be denied. 😛
How was your Thanksgiving… if you celebrate it? And if not, did you at least enjoy a day totally justified in eating things you normally pretend you don’t?
