Good morning, SOULdier Sisters ππ
Todayβs devotion came from 2 Timothy 2:3:
π βThou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.β
The Lord reminded us that if we are going to be good soldiers, we must first be healthy soldiers.
That is why we spell soldiers:
π S.O.U.L.D.I.E.R.S.
Because we believe that before a soldier can be strong physically, her soul must be healthy.
A healthy soldier has a healthy soul.
A healthy soul is a watered soul.
A watered soul becomes a well-watered garden.
π βYou will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.β (Isaiah 58:11)
Today we examined the gardens of our soul:
π§ Mentalπͺ Physicalπ Spiritualβ€οΈ Emotionalπ€ Relationalπ° Financialπ₯ Nutritionalπ¨βπ©βπ§ Generationalπ Maritalπ Entrepreneurial
The question is not simply:
βAm I surviving?β
The question is:
π± βAm I watering my garden?β
Because what is watered grows.
What is neglected withers.
What is surrendered flourishes.
As SOULdiers, we are learning not to depend on our own soulβour own mind, will, and emotionsβbut instead to surrender them to God.
When our feelings say quitβ¦Godβs Word says endure.
When our emotions say fearβ¦Godβs Word says trust.
When our flesh says stopβ¦Godβs Spirit says keep going.
We replace:
β Our mindβ Our willβ Our emotions
With:
β
Godβs Wordβ
Godβs Willβ
Godβs Way
And as we walk hand-in-hand with Jesus, we remember:
π βAt Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.β (Psalm 16:11)
Our prayer today is that we would endure and remain strong in every seasonβnot because we are strong in ourselves, but because our souls are continually being watered by the presence of God.
As we continue rising at 5AM, we are training for strength and readiness in every area of life.
We believe God is raising strong women in these last days:
π₯ Women prepared spiritually.π₯ Women prepared mentally.π₯ Women prepared emotionally.π₯ Women prepared physically.π₯ Women prepared for purpose.
May our gardens continue to be watered.
πΈ We celebrate Sister Jess and all God is doing in her life. Completing the Daniel Discipline.
π€± We pray for Coach Dee as she continues to grow and flourish in motherhood.
π We pray for Laquaila complete recovery and strength. May the glory of God continue to flow through her as she dances for Jesus, and may every dance break chains, destroy strongholds, and bring freedom to others, herself, and her household.
π We pray for Coach Jaz to continue embracing childlike faith, walking confidently as a daughter of God, allowing Abba Father to be Daddy, and returning to the simplicity of grace, salvation, and intimacy with Christβnot striving, but receiving.
Lord, teach us to endure hardship as good soldiers of Jesus Christ.
May it be well with our souls.
May our gardens flourish.
May we arise and shine.
And may we finish our race strong.
In Jesusβ Name, Amen. πΏβοΈππ
