Still Standing Sunday
Still Standing Sunday — January 18, 2026 “You Are Not Standing Alone.” Focus Scripture: Zechariah 3:2 (NIV)“The Lord said to Satan, ‘The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?’” Beautiful woman, I need you to hear this today, straight from my heart: You are not standing alone. I know there are seasons where standing feels like walking a tightrope over fire. You’re upright, but you feel exposed. You’re not defeated, but you’re exhausted. You’re still moving forward, but sometimes it feels like life is pressing against you from every side. And in those quiet, vulnerable moments, the enemy whispers:"If God really loves you, wouldn’t this be over by now?" That’s why Zechariah 3:2 is so powerful. It’s a word for every woman who has ever felt judged, accused, or overlooked. Breaking Down the Scripture Joshua, the high priest, was standing before the Angel of the Lord. Satan was there too, pointing fingers, accusing, questioning, trying to condemn him. But Joshua didn’t fight back. He didn’t argue. He didn’t defend himself. He just stood. And this is where the lesson hits home: Joshua’s silence was not weakness—God’s presence was strength. Before Joshua could speak, the Lord stepped in and said:“The Lord rebuke you, Satan.” Not Joshua rebuke you.Not Joshua explain himself. Not Joshua fight his own battle. God spoke—and Satan had no choice but to step back. What This Means For You Standing does not mean you are unprotected.Silence does not mean God is absent.Delay does not mean denial. Sometimes, God allows you to stand in the fire—not because you’re alone—but because He is handling things you cannot see. You may feel accused: - By your past mistakes - By moments of weakness - By the opinions of others - By doubt creeping into your own mind And you may feel like you’re standing there all alone…But hear me clearly, beautiful woman: God is standing right beside you. The scripture calls Joshua a “burning stick snatched from the fire.”

Still Standing: When Faith Is All You Have Left
Welcome
Hello and welcome. My name is Dashonia Marie, and I am the founder and lead counselor of Encouraging Her Resilience. Encouraging Her Resilience was created from lived experience, deep faith, and a calling to help women heal, rebuild, and rise. This is more than a program—it is a Christ-centered healing community designed to support women who have experienced trauma, addiction, domestic violence, incarceration, grief, and life-altering setbacks. At Encouraging Her Resilience, we focus on whole-woman restoration—spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and practically. Through faith-based education, recovery tools, counseling support, biblical teaching, and life-skills development, we help women move from survival to stability, and from brokenness to purpose. We serve women who are ready to do the work—women who may still be standing by faith alone, but who desire healing, accountability, structure, and a deeper relationship with God. Whether you are early in your healing journey or rebuilding your life after loss, this space was created for you. This Skool community is a place to learn, grow, be challenged, and be supported. You are not alone here. You are seen, valued, and capable of becoming everything God has called you to be. Welcome to Encouraging Her Resilience—where healing begins, faith is strengthened, and resilient women are built.
