...but now I've seen the light!

This is my 'interesting question': When was the last time you discovered that something you strongly believed in before was wrong, false, or mistaken in some way? And how did that discovery make you feel?

With regards to music production I recently had an earth shattering revelation - sometimes it's okay to use a sample pack or synth preset. Previously that would have been utter sacrilege to me. Discovering I might have been overlooking useful tools and methods has got me excited about new possibilities.
