DIY Step / Stutter FX

Someone posted about Tantra 2 this morning and that inspired me to play around a bit with bitwig's grid and try to achieve something conceptually similar but with more focus on what i would use out of all the feature such plugins provide. So after a bit of tweaking and twiddling i came up with something fun to play with. It can definitely be improved with more interesting modulations and feedback loops between some grid devices but even as is i spent a good hour having fun with it :)

here's a little video i recorded about how i would use it, which is mainly to mess around with loops and find happy accidents that i would otherwise not come up with.

The concept is pretty simple, so it can be easily extended with different effects (inside the grid or not), and the remote controls (those macros at the beginning of the chain) can be remapped to the controls you prefer. The step modulators can also be replaced by segments which gives a nicer control for some use cases.
