Today feels like a bit of a reminder for me…
Yesterday I held two self-care circles, one in person and one online, and by the end of the evening I felt really relaxed.
But instead of listening to that, I tried to push through and carry on with my usual evening routine.
Lee had already said not to worry about anything, that he’d sort things in the morning, but I think my little perfectionist hat came on for a moment.
So instead of going to bed…
I sat on the sofa… and ended up falling asleep there.
I woke up at 5am, took myself to bed, and I do feel a bit more rested today, but it’s definitely made me realise…
I could have just listened to my body in the first place.

So today feels like a gentle reminder to come back to that.
To listen a little sooner.
To not push through when I don’t need to.
