Welcome to the Community! 👋 Hi everyone! I’m Elyse. I’m a dual-licensed esthetician and cosmetologist, and I’m so excited to start this journey with all of you. My deep love for hair, skin, and makeup started when I was young. Early on, I was taking theater and makeup classes at my local college. While studying stage makeup, I realized that truly mastering makeup application starts with understanding the canvas underneath—which sparked my decision to dive headfirst into skincare. Around that same time, a very personal mission pushed me into aesthetics: my eldest daughter suffered from severe eczema. Wanting to find gentler, more effective ways to care for her skin beyond just relying on topical steroid creams, I threw myself into learning everything I could about skin health. That passion led me to graduate from the Beauty School of Middletown in 2017 with my aesthetics license. As I immersed myself in the industry, I realized I wanted to serve clients holistically, so I expanded my craft by graduating from Capri in 2021 with my cosmetology license. Over the years, so many parents and individuals have reached out asking how to manage skin and hair challenges for their children and themselves. I created this space to share that knowledge and support people through every stage of life. I firmly believe that radiant skin and healthy hair aren't just about what's on the outside—it’s a reflection of what’s happening on the inside. Here, we’ll talk about: •Finding the right products (and learning which ones to avoid) •How internal factors like diet, nutrition, and daily habits impact breakouts, hair shedding, and overall wellness •Practical, root-cause solutions to common hair and skin concerns My goal is to educate, support, and build a strong community of like-minded people who want to look and feel their best from the inside out.
