⚠️ Community Safety Notice ⚠️
Unfortunately, we've been seeing an increasing number of bots and fake accounts joining online communities. Many of these accounts use famous names, pretend to be well-known people, successful publishers, or other trusted individuals in order to appear legitimate.
In many cases, these accounts reply to posts with AI-generated messages and then may contact members privately through direct messages. They often try to get people to click on links, visit websites, or buy products and services.
Please be extremely careful. If anyone sends you a direct message asking you to click a link, share personal information, make a purchase, or do anything that feels suspicious, do not engage with them. Instead, please report the account immediately.
You are welcome to report any member who behaves this way. If you'd like, you can also contact me directly, and I will review the situation and ban confirmed scammers or fake accounts as quickly as possible.
I want everyone to know that I am actively working to improve moderation and keep this community safe. However, as our community continues to grow and more people join every day, it can sometimes be difficult to immediately identify fake accounts or bad actors.
Please stay cautious, use your best judgment, and help look out for one another. Together, we can keep this community safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.
