The cheap/not so cheap pakistani folder
Hey everyone....i rcan exho in here! The whole point of this community is kinda like a big ol nonstop session of show and tell....im creeping myself out with all of this posting and sharing and knowing that noone is in here with me,yet! But imlso answeing myself....lol patience is a virtue...anyways i juvwabted to share a folder that ive for the better part of 15-20 years. Its a pakistan made folder and i dont know what steel the blade is but i can sharpen it and use the heck out of it for a few weeks while its the EDC ive chosenfor the time being, opening boxes, cutting big heavy duty super sacks open and just other general duties you use a knif for and it actually holds an edge fairly well and in colorado we're a pretty arid area and because of that the knife has never really been exposed to mousture and so i ct say what kinda corrosion resistance it has. But make no mistake, itsctualky a well built, sturdy knife that feels good in the hand with those contiured wood scales and brass bolster and pomel but what really draws mw towards this knife and why i ctunye to i clude it in my collection is that very interesting locking/opening lever...it totally reminds me of the good ol solingen hubertus, german swithchblades...they have a very simikar deployment lever as well. I havent real ever thought of these pakistani $5 pocket knives being anything special but the fact that this one has that lever locking mechanism....it kunda intrigued me and adds to rhe feel abdpeal of the knife. I have never seen that on a folder from that region or even here in our neck of the woods. It says its n fted with intelligence and craftsmanship...anyways,imyrioys to what other people might think about this knife and i lo forward to rwading some comments .....eventually...lol
