February 19, 2026 The UAH College of Business is proud to announce Michelle Kloske as the new Director and Senior Business Advisor of the SBDC APEX Accelerator at UAH. A UAH alumna with a BSBA in Accounting, Michelle has served as a Senior Business Advisor since 2019 and has been a tremendous resource to small business owners across North Alabama. In 2022, she was recognized by America’s SBDC with the Alabama State Star Award as the top advisor in the state. In her new role, she will continue working directly with entrepreneurs while leading the SBDC/APEX team in delivering measurable results aligned with the performance standards of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Department of Defense (DoD). Her experience as both a small business owner and senior advisor uniquely positions her to guide clients at every stage of business growth. This leadership transition also marks a fresh chapter for our office. Now fully settled into our new home in the Business Administration Building (BAB 126) within the UAH College of Business, the SBDC APEX Accelerator is energized and focused on strengthening service to the North Alabama business community. Being located on campus enhances our ability to connect clients with university resources, faculty expertise, and student engagement opportunities. As we move forward in this next phase, we invite both new and returning clients to connect with our team. Whether you are launching a venture, navigating growth, or exploring new opportunities, the SBDC APEX Accelerator at UAH provides confidential, no-cost advising and training designed to help you start, manage, grow, and compete. To schedule an in-person meeting at our campus location, please contact your advisor directly. You can also visit www.uah.edu/sbdc/events or www.asbdc.org to register for upcoming programs. We look forward to welcoming you to campus and continuing to support the success of entrepreneurs throughout our region.

Easy Corporate Boot Camp 02/18/2026 Recording
What if I told you that one decision, one moment of obedience, one moment of alignment, could position your business for a $15,000,000 opportunity? Not someday… but right now, in this community, with the same tools that one of our very own students used to unlock a contract of this magnitude. Tonight isn’t just another meeting. This is a corporate awakening. You are sitting inside a community where real people are getting real results by following the exact instructions laid out in the Easy Corporate Comprehensive Curriculum and the book that accompanies it. This isn't a theory. This is transformation backed by evidence.

15,000,000.00 Plus State Contract Opportunity! We need your input.
A multi‑million‑dollar contract opportunity is on the table right now—and the team that moves with clarity, speed, and excellence will be the team that wins. This is not theory. This is not practice. This is a real procurement opportunity with the State of Georgia, and we are stepping into it together. Our Corporate Comprehensive Curriculum for New Businesses has prepared us for moments exactly like this. If you have strengths in writing, editing, compliance, research, formatting, operations, or security—your contribution is needed. Comment “I’m available” below. Tag someone who should be part of this SOQ Power Team. Or message directly if you’re ready to take on a section. This is how we grow. This is how we win. This is how we build capacity—together. Let’s move with excellence. Let’s execute with precision. Let’s secure this contract. Jacqueline and Cicely just completed a strategic planning session outlining the structure, requirements, and partnership approach needed to produce a competitive Statement of Qualifications for Event Security and Crowd Management Services. This is a chance to elevate multiple businesses, expand capacity, and demonstrate the strength of our collective expertise. How to structure the Statement of Qualifications for a state‑level contract - Which components need to be written (Stability & Resources, Experience & Qualifications, Training Protocols, Emergency Operations, etc.) - How to divide the work between partners like Complete Admin and A. Wilson Enterprise - Staffing requirements for two major facilities - The importance of proper training, certification, and emergency operations planning - Leveraging veterans and local security companies for staffing and training - Preparing for E&O insurance (2M/5M coverage) to demonstrate stability - Ensuring all questions for the contracting authority are submitted before the deadline Next steps are already in motion, including sending memorandums, assigning writing sections, coordinating team roles, and posting this opportunity inside the community so everyone who wants to contribute can step in.
