HAPPY FATHER’S DAY, BROTHERS.
Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers in our community. And to all of our sisters, Happy Father's Day to your fathers, husbands, sons, and the men who have stepped up to lead, protect, provide, and serve their families with love and integrity. As a reminder, we will resume our Sunday Prayer Call next week. Today, I found myself in deep prayer, reflecting on the glorious names of our Father who art in Heaven. El Shaddai. Elohim. Adonai. Jehovah Jireh. Jehovah Nissi. Jehovah Rapha. Our Father. Our Savior. Our Redeemer. Our King. The more I prayed, the more I was reminded that every good father on earth is called to reflect the character of our Father in Heaven. Fatherhood is not simply a title. It is a calling. It is a responsibility. It is a sacred assignment given by God Himself. As men, as husbands, and as fathers, we are called to stand upright in a generation that often encourages compromise. We are called to lead by example. To walk in love when it is difficult. To stand in truth when it is unpopular. To provide strength when others are weak. To be pillars for our families. To protect. To guide. To serve. To sacrifice. And most importantly, to point our families toward Christ. Today, I want to take a moment not only to honor every father in this community, but also to honor the Father who has given us life, breath, purpose, and salvation. Without Him, none of us would be here. Without His grace, none of us would have made it this far. Without His mercy, we would have no hope for tomorrow. To every father reading this: Thank you. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for carrying burdens that many never see. Thank you for praying for your family. Thank you for staying the course when life became difficult. Thank you for being a beacon of hope, strength, wisdom, and stability in a world that desperately needs godly men. Today, I pray that you feel honored. I pray that you feel loved. I pray that you feel appreciated. I pray that the Lord refreshes your spirit, strengthens your hands, and fills your home with peace, joy, and His presence.
