Staying safe in the community and in the digital space
Hello everyone. I hope everyone is ok and getting ready for Christmas 🎅. I wanted to let you know somethings that will help you stay safe.
➡️ Don’t trust anyone especially when they seem very pushy or are trying to be very helpful with something that they did and they end up earning a lot of money;
➡️ Don’t give any details like phone number, bank details and other information, as scammers will use them and you will be left with no money in your account.
➡️ Make the word ‘block’ your best friend as this will help you separate the good people from the bad people that are there just for their benefit. I have loads of people on my TikTok trying to help me and to put me in contact with someone who helped them achieve x amount of money in 24 hours. And these people are being so pushy that is unbelievable so the only thing you can do is BLOCK that person.
➡️ In all circumstances use your due diligence that means wait a couple of hours, ask someone else, ask questions in the community or even ask a friend before you purchase something that might be getting you into trouble. If your instinct tells you don’t do it, 95% of the times you are right. So trust your instincts and if you are not sure just ask.
I am adding all of this here as I had member A from the community being approached by member B, that was trying to scam the member A into giving the personal details for creating a Beacon Store in their name. That is in my eyes a scam especially when there are person details involved and a person that you don’t know approaching you directly with some extraordinary help. Member A is safe and it was very helpful that member A asked me before giving any details. And member A was getting tricked just because is new to the digital marketing space and member B sense that.
So this is your warning ‼️ please 🙏 ask me or in the community or you will be sorry afterwards.
And as a reminder when I admit people in the community I can’t always tell if that person is genuine or not, so I accept people and if I find out that are breaking the rules I let them go from the group. So please let me know in the comments or DMs if someone is disturbing you in any way.
