Something new has appeared at the edge of the path.
The Post Office has arrived. No grand opening. No announcement nailed to every tree. Just a wooden counter, a stack of parcels tied in twine, and the quiet sense that things may start circulating a little differently now. Letters, notices, and the occasional package will pass through here as the seasons turn. Some addressed carefully. Some… less so. If you’ve been wondering where things land once they’re sent, this is probably it. You’ll find the Post Office open now.Tabitha is inside. She’s already sorting.

Weekly Mission #5
This weeks mission is particularly well timed... Show us your snowy adventures! The Council of Moss issues small easy to do missions for all scouts once a week... They call them "easy wins" to ward off hard days. They are released on Mondays and usually do not require much in supply or set up. If you complete this mission this week (or any time really) feel free to share about it in the comments below.

Playful Art Journaling
I just had some fun in another creative community to art journal the 2025/2026 transition. I found it fun that I was brought to think about leaves as my intention for bringing in the new year. leaves. They are small. by themselves, they don't do much. but together - they nourish a WHOLE MASSIVE tree. And what about to a caterpillar? how important is a single leaf? It might just be what it needs to finish it's transformation into a butterfly. Not every leaf is the same. Not every leaf grows at the same time. Not every leaf falls at the same time. but - to a tree - is a leaf important? What if a tree had no leaves? What if a tree had too many leaves? Have you ever tried to count all the leaves on a tree? for some like palm trees, its easy. or at least, easier. for others like evergreens - nigh impossible. It's amazing where a simple reflection can take you ^_^

A Note at the Gate
A small notice has been left just inside the gate. “People arrive in Dragonswood in different ways. Some speak right away. Some listen first. Some wander for a while before saying hello.” If you’re new here, this is a good place to pause. Not to perform — just to be noticed. This community stays warm when people leave small traces of themselves and respond when something feels familiar. You don’t need a full story. A few words is plenty. Take a moment to introduce yourself below, then look for someone else whose answer you recognize. Saying ‘me too’ is how paths start crossing here.

The Path Is Being Cleared
You may notice a few new markers in the wood today. A map has been pinned up—not finished, but enough to orient a wanderer. The Lantern Room now has a door, its light visible through the trees. The Post Office hums quietly, doing what post offices do. None of these places are complete yet. That’s how Dragonswood prefers it. Foundations first. Footsteps later. If you peek in and see loose boards or open scaffolding, that’s intentional. You’re arriving while things are still being built. More paths will connect. More signs will appear. For now, you’re welcome to look around, follow your curiosity, or simply sit by the light and watch. The wood grows best when people are already inside it.
