English 101 ... The Hard Way
We remain hidden in the woods, out of sight of all. There are beings around us, but we pay them no mind. We watch the small ones first. They run about screaming, chasing each other with wild abandon. They pay attention to nothing. Not even themselves. Curious creatures. But not all small ones behave so. We observe one closely. She plucks a multi‑colored, sweet‑smelling thing from the ground and presents it to a larger being. The larger one smiles and accepts the offering. Noises pass between them. A noise repeats from each of them. Ah… something to latch onto. We listen. We hear the noise again… here… there… We see the embraces that follow it, the changes in their faces, the quickening of their life force. We know this feeling. We feel this with Mother. Warmth. Connection. Belonging. Tis .......... *LOVE*. Does this noise from them mean the same? We search more. We match the noises they make to words we have spoken to Mother so many, many times before. Their language builds within us. Slowly. Painfully. It is sometimes sharp and guttural, other times pleasant and soothing. At first we catch only fragments, not enough to learn. But it grows. We grow. Still… we need a teacher. And that smell… How can one concentrate at all with the glorious scent oozing from this place of beings and dead things? It curls around us, warm and inviting, pulling at our senses. We are Stormfire. We watch. We listen. We learn. Mother will be proud of her child.

Friends finally meeting
The arrival of Blossom
I left on my very long journey to this Dragon Village all I know is that they live close to this village and hope I can find Aliva. I have traveled thru the mountains, a desert, and many forests to get to this little village. I really don’t know what to expect so before I go into the village I put on my cloak and covered my wings and put my egg inside my bag so that I would look like everyone else and not draw too much attention to myself. I hope someone here can help me find my friend. So out of my cloak I pulled out a paper that had a drawing of my friend so that I could ask around for information. I walk into this cute little village with a water fountain and people are walking around with some dragons flying around and I hear some music playing. I walk over to the water fountain and sit down next to a few women that are talking together just for a few minutes and watch the people and dragons that are in town square while I try to figure out what to say. (In my mind I am going through what to say and I ask my little dragon her thoughts ) “ok what do you think of this ……. “I am a friend of Aliva Opaline Nanvuda. My name is Blossom and I live in a place far away next to one of the troll clans that Alvida and Urglish come and visit. I first met her right after Urglish found her as a child. I was a baby and my parents were happy to have a friend for their daughter to play with. They stayed a few years and even though she is older than I am, I was better behaved….well honestly… when we were together we would get into a lot of mischief. My little dragon is still in her shell and she is very shy so she has decided to stay in the shell and not come out. So hopefully Aliva and Oma can convince my dragon to come out into the world and they can be friends. Im a fairy and when I was born my parents gave me a dragon egg that I would have as a companion. From birth I could talk to dragons before they were hatched and this one that was given to me declared I was hers. So Ive been carrying this egg around for many years. And as I grew up and changed the egg changed too and became even more beautiful with a heart becoming more and more apparent on the shell. I talk to her all the time but she will not come out of her shell. “

A Traveler On The Outskirts
We watch. We observe the small brown ones. They eat the green swaying things while we watch. We see the quick ones with flickering tails. They crack open the children of the tall green things, consuming what lies within. We see the tall ones moving with grace. They nibble at everything green. So we conclude: The green things, though alive, are sustenance. They are the source upon which these creatures thrive. And the green things do not seem to mind. They do not cry out. They do not resist. They are not sentient. They are simply… here. An odd place indeed. Very well. We have tarried long enough. Mother will want to know more. We rise from our resting place. We move on. We edge closer to the mass of beings we saw from on high, those who move among the dead things. The way is long, but we do not tire. We are built well for this odd place. Well, now that we have tamed our fire. We pause. We sense… an oddity? Life? No. Not life. Something… different. It is large. It does not move. It lies far away, apart from the beings and their dead things. We do not wish to go that way yet. Mother would want us to learn more of the beings here. But She would want to know the oddity too. Stillness… We sense them. There. Three beings, moving through the forest toward the dead things. They travel together. We will follow. We reach the place of dead things and feel the three enter. There are many, many more beings here. Noises — some harsh, some pretty. We nestle beside the tall green things, hidden from sight. We observe. We listen. We are Stormfire. We are ready.

Planning for a Dragons Feast
Choraleaf, inspired by her newfound powers of inspiring growth through song, travelled first to the greenhouse, then to the farm, then to the fields beyond. Euphina followed and played when prompted, and watched as blossoms bloomed before her eyes to the tune. The melody shifted, and then fruit sprouted from the vines - more abundant than could be harvested right away! The green house, and the farm, the orchards and fields all overflowing with produce and in need of extra hands to harvest and to delight in the plethora of plant life. Work to be done, great gains to be gathered and shared with all. With the mangers overflowing with produce, the pigs devouring the feast of peaches, peppers, and parsley, and more plants producing with every panflute parade - a decision was made. A feast was needed to process all this bounty! A council is held - When shall we meet and eat together? (Feel free to come in costume, a much or as little as you can <3 ;) )
