Brrrr…winter
I live in an area that gets very cold. The first year I put blankets on my donks, but every year after that, they refused. Both grow an amazing winter coat and we have seen -35 and they were fine. No shivering, no frost bite like I feared.
Donkeys are amazing and way more adaptable than I imagined.
