A lot of people say they want change, but they leave themselves a back door out every time things get uncomfortable.
“I’ll try.”
“I hope.”
“Maybe next month.”
“When things calm down.”
Those phrases sound harmless, but they quietly weaken commitment before the work even begins.
Real growth usually starts when you remove the escape hatch and decide you’re moving forward regardless of mood, fear, or temporary discomfort.
