Today's quote from the book:
“You don’t need to eliminate every fear before you act.”
Doing What You Know, Chapter 11, p. 179
Fear stops a lot of people long before failure ever does. They wait until they feel confident enough, certain enough, or prepared enough before they finally move forward. The problem is that confidence is rarely something that appears first.
Most of the time, confidence is built after you begin.
You don’t have to remove every doubt before taking action. You don’t have to solve every possible problem in advance. You don’t have to guarantee success before taking the next step.
Growth often begins while fear is still present.
The people who eventually move their lives forward aren’t always fearless. They’ve simply learned that action matters more than comfort, and momentum matters more than certainty.
