I'll be honest—this has been a tough week at DBR Bookkeeping.
Lots of larger projects. Lots of tedious work. Lots of details that require patience and focus.
And it reminded me of something important:
Not every season is about growth. Sometimes it's about getting through the work in front of you.
Two quick reminders:
1. Don't Judge the Movie by One Scene
One tough week doesn't mean you're failing.
One lost sale doesn't define your business.
One setback doesn't erase all the progress you've made.
Keep the bigger picture in mind.
2. Focus on the Next Step
During difficult seasons, stop asking:
"How do I win today?"
Instead ask:
"What's the next right thing I need to do?"
One call.
One task.
One client.
One step forward.
Progress isn't always exciting. Sometimes it's just showing up and doing the work.
Question for the group:
What's one thing helping you stay resilient right now?
