So Where Did DBR Come From?

Most people in Northwest Arkansas know me today as the owner of DBR Bookkeeping.

But before I started my business in Fayetteville, Arkansas...

I was a college band director and university professor.

In fact, music has been one of the biggest influences in my life.

I've worked with numerous marching band programs throughout the years and even marched with the Santa Clara Vanguard, including their 1999 DCI Championship season.

Music was the vehicle that brought me many of the opportunities I've had in life.

It taught me discipline.

Leadership.

Creativity.

Teamwork.

And how to continually improve through repetition and practice.

As entrepreneurs, I think it's important that we embrace our past experiences.

They shape who we are.

Your personal brand isn't just your business.

It's your personality.

Your perspective.

Your experiences.

Your story.

I'm grateful to have such a diverse background because it helps me approach problems differently, think outside the box, and bring creativity into DBR Bookkeeping.
