Busy Bee today!
Day 3 of the mini podcast series is live but I got a bit busy and hadn't posted the link.
I do have a good reason, see the first photo.
It wasn't the emergency we thought it was, the queen had been out for a breeding flight, they are all safely back in the hive. But it meant we had a look at the hive and answered the question we knew was coming. This top bar hive is crumbling, it's over 10 years old and we got it second hand. Lucky we had new supplies and have enough to transfer them. We'll probably do it next week.
