🍽️ Welcome to Dinner, Decided.
If the question “What’s for dinner?” has ever made you irrationally annoyed at a perfectly innocent person, you are absolutely in the right place. 😂 Dinner, Decided. was created for the person who has already made a hundred decisions today and somehow still has to figure out what everybody is eating tonight. Maybe you forgot to thaw the chicken. Maybe there are groceries in the house but apparently nothing to eat. Maybe payday is three days away. Maybe your child has suddenly decided they no longer eat the meal they requested yesterday. Whatever brought you here, we’re not judging it. This is not a meal-prep perfection club. You do not need matching containers, a colour-coded menu or three hours every Sunday to prepare for the week. Around here, cereal has saved lives, leftovers deserve second chances and sometimes eggs absolutely count as dinner. What we will help you do is make the decision easier. Bring us what you already have, tell us how much time and energy you have left, and we’ll help you figure out what dinner can realistically become. 👍🏽Your first mission is ridiculously easy. Tell us these four things in the comments: 👥 Who are you feeding? 😩 What usually makes dinner hardest for you? 🍗 One ingredient that seems to live in your house permanently? 🚫 And one food your household absolutely refuses to eat? That’s it. No polished introduction required. And when the day inevitably comes when dinner has completely defeated you, create a post in 🚨 Rescue My Dinner and tell us what you’ve got. We’ll take it from there. Less thinking. Less waste. Dinner handled. ❤️

🚨 HOW TO RESCUE YOUR DINNER
Dinner has gone sideways? Good. You’ve come to the right place. Post what you have, using this ridiculously simple format: I HAVE: What’s in the fridge, freezer or pantry FEEDING: How many people TIME: How long you’ve got ABSOLUTELY NOT: Allergies, dislikes, dietary needs or simply “I refuse to turn on the oven tonight” A photo of your fridge or ingredients is welcome too. Then finish your post with: RESCUE MY DINNER. 🍽️ Nobody needs an impressive ingredient list. Three eggs, tortillas and questionable motivation are enough to start. 😂
😂 REAL LIFE DINNER #001 — Tell Me Your Most Ridiculous Dinner Moment
I want to officially remove any pressure for dinner around here to look impressive. Maybe you cooked a full meal and somebody asked for cereal. Maybe you forgot the side dish completely. Maybe you served “snack plate dinner” and everybody loved it more than the meal you spent an hour making. Maybe the toddler ate ketchup and three crackers and called it a night. This is the place for all of it. Tell us your most recent real-life dinner moment — the funny, chaotic, slightly embarrassing one you would never put on Pinterest! Mine would be the kind of night where you spend twenty minutes trying to figure out dinner, finally make something, sit down…and somebody immediately says, “I’m not hungry.” Excuse me???😐😂 Your turn. What happened at dinner in your house that made you think, “You cannot make this stuff up”? No judgment. No perfect plates. Just real families feeding real people. ❤️
🧊 USE IT UP #001 — The “Why Did I Buy This?” Fridge Challenge
You know those groceries you bought with very good intentions and then quietly ignored for four days? Today, we’re rescuing them before they become an expensive science experiment in the back of the fridge. 😂 Your challenge: Open your fridge and find three things that need to be used soon. Maybe it’s half a rotisserie chicken, two lonely peppers, cooked rice, spinach starting to look suspiciously tired, half a jar of pasta sauce or cheese you forgot you opened. Drop your three ingredients in the comments and let’s see what dinner we can turn them into. Bonus points if you make dinner without buying a single extra ingredient. I’ll go first: Chicken + rice + broccoli. What are your three? Less waste. Less spending. Dinner handled. ❤️

🍽️ TONIGHT’S 3 #001 — The “I’m Not Going Back to the Store” Edition
You have food in the house. You just don’t particularly want to think about what to do with it. Fair enough. 😂 Here are tonight’s three: ⚡ OPTION 1: Crispy Quesadilla Plates Tortillas + whatever cheese you have + leftover chicken, beans, ground meat or vegetables. Crisp them in a pan, slice them up and put something simple beside them — fruit, corn, cucumber, whatever is already there. 🧊 OPTION 2: Use-It-Up Fried Rice Leftover rice + eggs + frozen vegetables + a little soy sauce or seasoning. Add any cooked meat that needs using. One pan, very little drama, dinner done. 🍳 OPTION 3: Breakfast Has Entered the Chat Eggs, toast, pancakes, waffles, potatoes or fruit — use whatever combination your household will actually eat. Breakfast food does not know what time it is, and neither do we. Tonight’s rule: no unnecessary grocery run. Which one are you choosing — 1, 2 or 3? And if none of these work because your kitchen is giving us absolutely nothing to work with, head over to 🚨 Rescue My Dinner and tell us what you’ve got. Less thinking. Less waste. Dinner handled. ❤️
