Hey Queens, happy Tuesday! Quick personal update first so you know where I’m at: it’s been a lot at home. Grant’s on full home health care, Barbie had to go back to the ER after surgery complications, and Croix’s flare means I’ve been running solo to doctor visits with no sitter or family backup. Add in my mom still recovering and waiting for a heart transplant — let’s just say sleep is scarce and coffee is abundant!! I want you to see what I see: the only reason my business is still moving is because of systems. Even when I feel maxed out, the work is serving people, this community is alive, and things don’t crumble when I step back. And that’s what I want for you. It reminds me of that shark in the tank story — the barrier was gone, but the shark still swam in circles. Y’all… having Croix all yesterday and today is more challenging for free time than I realized.
