Did you know that you can join SANS for free and gain access to free tools? You can. I did, am pleasantly surprised and will likely use some of these in my current position at work. Check this out -see pic.
I think it's time to start doing some Free Tool Tuesdays with some of these. Planning on trying the Android triage tool 1st. Likely this is (havent downloaded and tested yet..) a tool to create an Android backup via adb (android debug bridge) and will require that you know the passcode to do so. What I am wondering is if there is a feature that will parse in some way, even if a rudimentary file system-type menu.
Pop quiz - if this is a tool to use adb to create a backup, what will you have to do to the phone to allow the connection?
