Quote First or Book First — What’s Better Right Now?
Most detailers I see still use quote forms.
But isn’t that slowing things down?
• Back-and-forth just to close
• Time wasted on low-quality leads
• No-shows, no commitment
What if instead:
Customer picks a service
Chooses a time
Pays a small deposit
Booking locked
Feels like it would:
• Filter serious clients
• Save time
• Make schedules predictable (especially with a team)
I get it—some jobs need custom quotes.
But where do you draw the line?
When does “quote first” stop making sense and “book first” win?
