Design Like a Star — Community Guidelines
1) Education First. No Selling. - This community exists to learn Canva and sharpen design skills. - No selling, pitches, or “get rich quick” plays—ever. - We focus on creating aesthetic, high-quality work and giving real, useful feedback. 2) What This Group Is About - Sharing practical Canva tips, techniques, and workflows. - Honest, constructive peer feedback on design. - Building strong fundamentals that make your work stand out. - Learning how to market your designs the right way (ethically and effectively). 3) What This Group Is Not About - Selling templates or pushing low-value bundles. - Hype around fast-money tactics. - Repackaged “resellable” digital product schemes. - Unsolicited DMs to pitch members. Note: If you’ve been in my lives, you know those “buy this pack and resell it” plays are not it. Some of you have been scammed by those bundles. That is not our path here. 4) My Intention With This Community - Teach you to create clean, professional designs. - Help you market your work properly and ethically. - Guide you toward higher-quality deliverables that justify big-ticket projects. 5) DMs and Privacy - No unsolicited DMs for selling or recruiting. - Get consent before moving a convo to DMs. - Do not share private messages or client work without permission. 6) Inclusivity and Accessibility - Use inclusive, respectful language. - Keep the space safe-for-work. - When possible, add short alt text to images for accessibility. 7) Enforcement - 1st: Friendly reminder and link back to guidelines. - 2nd: Post removal and temporary mute. - 3rd: Removal from the community. - Egregious violations (scams, harassment, hate speech) = immediate ban.
