Questions and Feedback
Laura and Karen,
I would be interested in hearing Steve (sure hope I got his name correct)if he knows any realtors here in Colorado Springs who are doing what he is doing. I think what Steve is doing is absolutely incredible and such a great resource for our dementia communities.
And to the young lady sitting next to Steve (I am sorry - I do struggle more now with name retention). Thank you for sharing your story about your mother. You also touched my heart and touched past memories of just how difficult the initial start of this journey is. I stole this saying from Peg Blackwell who attended tonights meeting...this journey is the beginning of "The Long Goodbye". Hang in there and know you are not alone and you have one of the best advocates in the entire world, Laura Wayman.
You will be ok.
Laura, once again you touched my heart when you shared about the new adventure you are taking to help people that are just starting their dementia journey's discover what they need. I'll have to process this for a bit and may have a thought or two to share with you.
Feedback: Shirely loved the Poolside Chat and is looking forward to being able to attend via zoom next meeting. We have made arrangements to help make this happen. She did try to talk but could not as her cell phone is an older model flip phone.
Last Question...the calendar I have shows a meeting on the 26th and 30th of April. Is there a zoom meeting on the 26th also?
Looking forward to seeing you all again.
