The entryway is so cluttered that leaving the house feels harder than it should. Clear the scene: Find and clear one path from the door to the room beyond it. Anything blocking the route gets moved to its proper home—or into a temporary “evidence” bin if you don't have time to decide. Identify suspects: Suspects are anything preventing the clean getaway - for example, no intentional place for putting the things needed at the entry. Your job: establish an escape route. You may not be able to deal with the suspects right now, but make a note of all of them and work toward dealing with each of them in the near future. Solved when: You can walk out the door without stepping over or around anything. We're not looking for perfect, just passable at this point in time.
