He stands by the door with his plaid scarf askew,
This jolly snow fellow in black, white, and true.
With berries that twinkle and mesh ruffles bright,
His carrot nose welcomes all into the light.
For Christmas lives not in the snow or the cold—
It’s there in the welcome, the love that we hold.
This snowman reminds us with his cheerful grin wide:
The greatest of gifts is the love we provide.
