Your mind is like an overworked detective, constantly looking for problems, even when there aren’t any. It grabs random sensations, vague worries, or the memory of that awkward thing you did in 2009 and says, “Aha! This is important!”
But not every thought is a clue. Not every worry is a case to be solved. Some are just noise, static in the background, trying to drag you into an investigation that leads nowhere.
Your Direction:
Next time your mind presents you with another urgent worry, pause. Ask yourself:
Is this actually useful, or just mental spam?
Would I take this thought seriously if it came from someone else?
You don’t have to debate, analyze, or fix every thought that pops up. Some are just background noise. And you? You get to decide what’s worth tuning into.
