The power system of JJK ( jujutsu kaisen) is an intricate and well put together system of sorcery and can be broken down like a form of science. And its foundation is an energy known as “cursed energy". Cursed energy comes from the soul which resides in the navel region of the belly, to generate cursed energy one simply has to feel a negative emotion. The soul in JJK is a bit of a mystery, because only a select few can actually perceive it. This perception is known as "observation of the soul," and the people who can perceive the soul help us to understand how it works, with the most influential of them being Mahito. Mahito lets us know that the body forms around the soul, and that one can change the shape of the body by changing the shape of the soul. However that is mostly irrelevant to this discussion. All you really need to know is that the body and soul are deeply connected to one another, and are linked by cursed energy, so lets breakdown cursed energy. Cursed energy as it pertains to sorcery or jujutsu ( these terms are interchangeable) is able to be broken down into five different "techniques"; perception, capacity, manipulation, output, efficiency. These are the five CETs or sets as I'm calling them, and they are crucial to understanding jujutsu, and you need to master all of them to become "the strongest", that is unless you're Toji Zen'in of course. I'll explain more in the next lesson but for now id like to say that this community is based around intellectual discussion about jujutsu, however it is also a place to just hangout and discuss JJk and anime in general.
