TX Intestacy Succession Explained
If you want to get into curative, the primary understanding you must acquire is tracking undivided interest accurately. And the way to do this is via Texas's Treasure Map aka the Intestacy Succession Chart!! People who die without a Will die intestate and they will fall under different categories depending on WHO they are at the time of their death - so dates matter. Texas is also a community property state so finding out HOW the decedent (deceased) acquired property (Community or Separate) is the first step. Get the original vesting deed and then track UDI (undivided interest).
