Let me introduce myself...
I'm Shannon. A busy, working mom/ wife, who loves fitness (and snacks). I want to help motivate others to be active and happy while being themselves. My husband and I work together coaching at our local gym and hope to one day own one of our own. We've been married 15yr+ and have a blended family. I am not your typical wife or mom. Some would advise that I may need to filter my thoughts and words. I say 🖕that! I'm a good mom and I work my ass off. So, if your looking for motivation and advise regarding life, fitness or anything. You've come to the right place!

🚪 STEP OUTSIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE
About two years ago, my husband and I looked at each other and said, “We want to own a gym.” We had no idea what that decision was going to take us through. 😂 It has been one hell of a roller coaster. When my first gym needed help, I showed up. No extra money. No guarantees. Just heart, dedication, and a genuine desire to see the gym succeed. I watched as the owners slowly ran the place into the ground. When I wanted the opportunity to buy it, that wasn't an option. Then, months later, completely out of the blue, a random buyer came in…and they sold. I was angry. I was disappointed. But I stayed dedicated. Then came new owners — a husband and wife — and suddenly everything was NEW. New equipment. New coaches. New events. Competitions. We loved it. But less than a year later, things changed again. The cliques became obvious. The micromanagement became exhausting. The emotional roller coaster became too much. So we left. After 10 years at one gym, starting over wasn't easy. We tried two different places, trying to find somewhere that felt like home. Then the second gym mentioned they might be looking at selling within a year. We looked at each other and thought… “Maybe this is our sign.” So we jumped in. The athletes — or “clients,” as the owners called them — welcomed us. They loved what we brought to the gym. But behind the scenes, we were learning. We started building a brand. We started a Sunday group. We started learning what it actually meant to operate an LLC and build something of our own. And as we learned, the relationship with the owner became more disconnected and cold. I explained that we weren't trying to take anything from anyone. We were trying to learn. Because we knew that someday, we wanted our own place. From there, things got worse. And now… Fast forward three months. We OWN A GYM. 🏋️‍♀️🔥 A completely different location. A completely different chapter. And we're learning how to build a business from the ground up while also learning how to navigate this journey together as husband and wife.

🚫 There Are No Quick Fixes. 💪
We live in a world that wants results overnight. The newest diet. The newest supplement. The newest injection. While medications like GLP-1s can be a valuable tool for some people when prescribed by their healthcare provider, they aren't a substitute for building healthy habits that last. If you don't learn how to fuel your body, how to move consistently, and how to make healthier choices, you'll always be searching for the next "magic solution." Start with the basics. 🥗 Read the ingredient list—not just the front of the package. 📊 Learn what the nutrition label is actually telling you. 🍎 Choose foods with ingredients you recognize. 💧 Drink more water. 🏋️ Strength train. 🚶 Walk more. 😴 Prioritize sleep. ❤️ Be patient with yourself. The body you're trying to build is earned through consistency, not shortcuts. Sweat. Effort. Discipline. Repeating the boring basics over and over again. Those things may not be flashy, but they work. Your health is an investment, not a 30-day challenge. So before chasing the next quick fix, ask yourself: Have I truly given consistent nutrition, exercise, sleep, and healthy habits my best effort? Small choices, repeated daily, create life-changing results. You've got this. One workout. One meal. One healthy choice at a time. 💙🔥 📸Post a GIF telling me how your feeling 😴🫩😷😁😭 #Consistency #HealthyHabits #Nutrition #StrengthTraining #FitnessOver40 #LifestyleChange #CSTFitness

🌧️ Rainy Sunday Reset 💕☕
Good morning, ladies! If you're waking up to rain today, take it as a reminder that not every day has to be sunny to make progress. A rainy Sunday is actually the perfect opportunity to reset, refocus, and prepare for a successful week. Let's be honest... we just came off a holiday weekend. 🇺🇸 There were cookouts, desserts, drinks, family gatherings, and maybe a few extra treats mixed in—and that's okay! Here's the important question: What are you going to do NEXT? We don't let one weekend define our journey. We don't wait until Monday, next week, or next month to "start over." We simply dial it back in. ✨ Today is your reset day: ✅ Get in 20–30 minutes of movement (walk, workout, stretch, or simply stay active). ✅ Drink plenty of water and rehydrate after the holiday. ✅ Meal prep a few healthy meals or snacks to make this week's choices easier. ✅ Fill your plate with protein, colorful veggies, and whole foods. ✅ Give yourself grace—but also be honest with yourself. 💬 Accountability Check-In No judgment here—just honesty. 1️⃣ How did you do over the holiday weekend? 2️⃣ What's one thing you're proud of? 3️⃣ What's one habit you're committing to this week? 4️⃣ Have you meal prepped yet? If so, what's on the menu? Remember, accountability isn't about beating yourself up. It's about owning your choices and making the next best decision. Progress isn't built by being perfect. It's built by showing up—especially on the days when motivation is low. So grab your coffee, throw on your workout clothes, prep some healthy food, and let's make this week one to be proud of. You've got this, ladies. One choice. One meal. One workout at a time. 💗💪

It's about honoring your body, staying consistent, and making choices that support your long-term health. Consistency beats intensity every single time. 💬 Comment below once you've finished! Tell us: 💦 How much water did you drink today? 🏋️ Did you complete all 4 rounds? 🌞 Are you Team Morning Workout or Team Evening Workout?
