Introducing Fluffy Owl
Fluffy Owl is a Brownie leader. I grew up with a Brownie Leader, it was my mum and her name was Brown Owl… I much prefer Fluffy!!
I know just how much love and dedication it takes as a volunteer in Girl Guiding . My mum was a Guider, We were all guides , including my Dad who was known a Sir Brown Owl!
Lisa is a member of our community and she said she would like to teach her Brownies how to crochet, which is amazing because she would need to learn how to crochet first.
Lisa is one of the first to complete the Yarn Bag Challenge , so let’s all congratulate her on this achievement!
So last night, between us we taught 9 Brownies how to crochet their first bracelet using a latch hook.
Some even made a flower necklace and it was one of those best ever nights, seeing the enthusiasm from everyone including the leaders. I think the children really enjoyed being able to wear what they made. Thank you so much Lisa for this opportunity and for teaching these kids so much.
