We will examine how knowledge, belief and faith can structurally constrain intelligence by redirecting it from reality-testing to internal coherence. How belief commits under partial frames, defines exit as error, and abridges intelligence without removing it. In contrast, recognition operates only through reality, keeps correction open, and restores intelligence’s full jurisdiction. Trust adapts with reality; belief locks against it.
