Your first week is about building the foundation. Don't try to do everything at once. Follow this day-by-day plan and you'll be in a strong position heading into Week 2.
**Day 1 -- Show up and get oriented.**
Introduce yourself in the Introductions space (there's a pinned template to make it easy). Then head to the Classroom and start Module 1, Lesson 1. It covers the basics of how credit scoring works and why it matters. Takes about 15 minutes.
**Day 2 -- Pull your credit reports.**
Go to AnnualCreditReport.com and pull all 3 reports: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. You need all three because they often have different information. This is free and it does not affect your score.
**Day 3 -- Upload and scan.**
Log in to CreditShield.app, upload your credit report, and run your first AI analysis. Review what it finds. Don't panic if the list looks long -- that's normal, and it's exactly why you're here.
**Day 4 -- Go deeper.**
Watch Module 1, Lessons 2 and 3 in the Classroom. Then look at your AI analysis again and start identifying your top 3 score-dragging items. These are the accounts or entries doing the most damage to your score.
**Day 5 -- Ask questions.**
Post in the Questions & Help space with anything that came up during your analysis. Not sure what something means? Not sure if an item is worth disputing? Ask. That's what this community is for.
**Day 6 -- Complete Module 1.**
Finish the remaining lessons in Module 1. By the end, you should have a solid understanding of how credit works, what your rights are under the FCRA, and which items on your report you want to address first.
**Day 7 -- Rest and recharge.**
Take a break. Browse the Wins space and see what other members have accomplished. Let it motivate you. You're building a skill that will serve you for the rest of your life. There's no rush.
**The key principle: consistency beats speed.** You don't need to fix everything this week. You just need to start, stay engaged, and keep showing up. The people who get results are the ones who stick with it.
Week 2 is when the real work begins -- dispute strategy, letter generation, and taking action. But you'll be ready for it because you did the work this week.
