🚨 START HERE: 5 Things You Can Do TODAY to Get Closer to Homeownership 🚨
If you’re serious about buying your first home, don’t wait on a lender to tell you what to fix. Start here 👇🏽 1️⃣ Stop guessing your credit. Pull all 3 reports (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion). Your score alone doesn’t matter your report does. 2️⃣ Payment history is king. One late payment can hurt more than you think. Set auto-pay on EVERYTHING. Consistency matters. 3️⃣ Don’t open new accounts right now. New credit = risk to lenders. If you’re thinking about buying within the next 6–12 months, pause. 4️⃣ Income matters more than hustle. Lenders care about documented, stable income. Side money is great — but it must be provable. 5️⃣ Save even if it feels small. Reserves matter. $25–$50 a week builds the habit lenders want to see.
